4. What I can't see
The edge of what I know
This report covers the dates and records I hold for you. It does not cover the things I have no
access to, and I would rather tell you where the edge is than pretend there is not one.
- Anything inside a driver file I have not been given: if it is not in my hands, it is not checked
- Your ELD and hours-of-service data: that lives with your ELD provider
- Roadside inspection results: those appear on your record after the fact, not before
- The condition of the trucks themselves: I track the paperwork on inspections, not the metal
If something above matters to you, tell me and I will get access to it, or tell
you plainly that I cannot.
What you get from me, every time
- Texts at 60, 30 and 7 days before any date that can stop a truck
- A phone call at the 7-day mark, before anything lapses
- A text the moment something is filed, saying what went out and what came back
- This report once a month, and a person who answers when you call
