Dates in 90 days

Here is your month. Short version: nothing is late, and nothing is at risk of being late.

One item needs a decision from you. Your annual inspection on Truck 02 is due in 12 days and I still do not have a date back from your shop. That is the only thing I would call urgent.

Everything else is on schedule, and I have listed it below so you can see it without taking my word for it.

Shawn · Rig Compliance

1. What needs you

Confirm the inspection date: Truck 02
I sent the checklist to your shop on the 3rd. I need the date they have booked so I can put it on your calendar and chase it if it slips.
Needed within 5 days
Send Driver 4's new medical card
He was seen on the 11th. Once I have the card on file I can update his record and you are clear for another two years.
No rush, due by month end
Clearinghouse consent forms: Drivers 4 and 5
Their annual queries come due in February. I need both signed consents on file before I can run them, and the query is the item that carries the biggest fine if it lapses.
Needed within 30 days

4. What I can't see

The edge of what I know

This report covers the dates and records I hold for you. It does not cover the things I have no access to, and I would rather tell you where the edge is than pretend there is not one.

  • Anything inside a driver file I have not been given: if it is not in my hands, it is not checked
  • Your ELD and hours-of-service data: that lives with your ELD provider
  • Roadside inspection results: those appear on your record after the fact, not before
  • The condition of the trucks themselves: I track the paperwork on inspections, not the metal
If something above matters to you, tell me and I will get access to it, or tell you plainly that I cannot.
